However, there is one machine where keeping form and injury free is easy: what you may ask, the cable machine. Cables are a lot more fluid and smooth than free weights. The use of cables means you’re less likely to get hurt as you don’t directly push or pull against the force of gravity. Cables also place less stress on your joints for safer sets and reps. Now with that said you should absolutely avoid movements that aren’t 100 percent natural and fluid to you.
